AI video generator with a crowd already waiting
The short answer
StreamingWars is an AI video generator built for vertical shorts. Type an idea, pick one of ten categories and a length from 15 seconds to 2 minutes, check the storyboard and press roll. Your short lands in a head-to-head arena where people vote on it, so you find out fast whether it works. Your first short is free, up to 30 seconds.

What it makes
Upright 9:16 shorts with sound, shaped for a phone screen. Every short is planned as a handful of shots with the camera changing angle every few seconds, a hook in the opening seconds and a payoff before the end. Short lines of dialogue go in when the scene calls for them.
Lengths run from 15 seconds to 2 minutes in 15-second steps. Longer shorts are filmed as a chain of clips, and each clip starts on the exact last frame of the one before, so faces, clothes and places hold together from start to finish. More on that in the long AI video guide.
- Ten categories people actually watch: Comedy, Drama, Romance, Thriller, Horror, Action, Sci-fi & fantasy, Animation, Animals and Sports.
- Grounded, live-action look by default: real-looking people, real places, natural light. Animation is the one category drawn on purpose.
- Up to four reference images if you want a specific character, place or prop to show up. See image to video AI.
How it works, start to finish
- 01
Type the idea
One or two sentences: who is in it, where they are and what goes wrong. Plain words work. No special keywords needed.
- 02
Pick a category and a length
The category tells the camera how to behave. A horror short creeps, a comedy short cuts on the joke.
- 03
Read the plan
You get a shot-by-shot storyboard with the hook, the turn and the ending. Change anything you like, then roll.
- 04
Roll cameras
Filming usually takes a minute or two. You can leave the page; the short keeps going without you.
- 05
Watch it fight
Your short is paired with another short in the same category and a similar length. Every vote moves its rating and its place in the rankings.
Why an audience changes everything
Most AI video tools hand you a file and wish you luck. Here every short gets shown to real people the moment it's done. Two shorts play side by side, viewers pick the one they like more, and the result is public: votes, a win-loss record and a rating that starts at 1500 and moves like a chess rating.
That gives you something a render queue can't: an honest answer within hours. Ideas that land climb the Rankings. Ideas that don't tell you what to change next time. Rankings count votes only, never money spent or followers.
Top shorts also travel. StreamingWars reposts its best shorts to its official TikTok and YouTube accounts and tags the creator when they've added their handles.
What it costs
| Length | Credits | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| 15 seconds | 50 | One joke, one scare, one reveal |
| 30 seconds | 100 (your first one is free) | Setup and payoff |
| 60 seconds | 200 | A small story with a twist |
| 2 minutes | 400 | A full arc across several scenes |
You can earn credits without paying: every vote is worth 0.25 credits and watching both shorts before you vote adds another 0.25, up to 40 credits a day. Packs and monthly plans are on the credits page.
