01

Who you're dealing with

StreamingWars (the "service") is operated by the operator named on the About page. By using the service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

02

Accounts

You must be 18 or over to create an account. You confirm your age when you pick your handle.

One person, one account. Handles can't be changed once set. You're responsible for what happens under your account.

Anyone can vote without an account. Votes from signed-in accounts may earn credits under the rules below.

03

Shorts

Shorts on the service are created by their makers using AI tools, starting from the makers' own ideas.

You keep the rights you have in your ideas and reference files. By making a short you give the operator a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, show, pair, rank and share it on and around the service, for as long as it stays up.

You must not submit ideas or reference files that depict real people, feature characters or material you don't have the rights to, or are sexual, hateful, harassing or unlawful. Every idea is screened before credits are spent. Shorts that break these rules can be removed at any time, and channels that keep breaking them can be banned.

A removed short leaves the ring at once. Fights it was in are voided and pay no credits.

04

Votes and ratings

Ratings are worked out from votes only. Spending and follower counts never affect rank. You can vote as soon as a pair loads. Watching both shorts to at least 80% earns a bonus credit. One vote per pair per person.

Using scripts, multiple accounts or anything else to fake votes gets votes thrown out, credits removed and accounts banned.

05

Credits

Credits are a prepaid, non-transferable licence to make shorts on the service. They have no cash value, can't be sold, swapped or withdrawn, and are not money. A short costs 50 credits for every 15 seconds of length.

Packs are sold through our merchant of record, who handles payment, tax and receipts and is the seller on your receipt. You can get your money back on a pack within 14 days of buying it, as long as you haven't spent its credits. A refunded pack takes its credits back out of your balance. The details are on the credits page.

Once your account is earning, a vote on the side the majority picks earns credits at the rate for that pair's length band, up to 40 a day. These rates can change.

If a short fails to make it through, its credits come back to you automatically.

06

Reports and removals

Anyone can report a short from its page. We review reports and may remove shorts or ban channels at our discretion. If you think we got it wrong, write to us.

07

The fine print

The service is provided as is. We work hard to keep it running but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, the operator isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and total liability is limited to what you paid for credits in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.

We may update these terms. If the changes matter, we'll say so on the service before they apply. Our privacy notice explains how we handle your data.
