What we keep.

01

Who's responsible

The operator named on the About page is responsible for your personal data on StreamingWars.

02

What we collect

Your account: email address, handle, display name, bio, avatar and banner, your 18+ confirmation, and a phone number if you choose to verify one.

What you make: your ideas, the reference files you upload, and the shorts that come back. Ideas and reference files are private to you; only the finished short is public.

How you play: votes, how much of each short you watched, follows, reports, and your credit ledger.

Your device: to stop vote stuffing we set our own cookie with a random ID and combine it with a hash of your browser type and screen size. We don't use third-party fingerprinting or advertising trackers.

Payments: our merchant of record takes your card details directly. We only receive the order ID, the pack and whether it was paid or refunded.

03

Why we use it

To run your account and the ring (our agreement with you), to keep votes fair and stop abuse (our legitimate interest), to process packs and keep records the law requires (legal obligation), and to send sign-in links you ask for.

We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.

04

Who sees it

Your handle, display name, bio, avatar, banner, live shorts, ratings, records and follows are public. Everything else stays private.

We share data only with the services that help us run StreamingWars: hosting and database, the production service that makes shorts from your idea, sign-in providers you choose to use, and our merchant of record. They may process data outside your country under appropriate safeguards.

05

How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account is open. Votes and ledger entries are kept to keep ratings and balances correct, and payment records for as long as tax law requires. Reference files are kept with the short they belong to.

06

Your rights

You can see, correct or delete your data, object to how we use it, or ask for a copy. You can change your profile any time from your corner. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
