An AI storyboard generator that doesn't stop at the storyboard
The short answer
On StreamingWars an AI storyboard generator turns your idea into a timed, shot-by-shot plan: what the camera sees, the angle, what we hear and any line, about five shots per 15 seconds with a two-second hook first. Unlike drawing-style storyboard tools, the plan is then filmed into a vertical short with sound. In Advanced mode you can read and edit the storyboard before filming.

What's in the storyboard
| Part | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Spine | The hook, the big question, the turn and the payoff, written before any shot |
| Cast and places | One fixed look for each person and place, repeated in every clip |
| Continuity facts | Things that must not change: which hand holds the key, where the door is |
| Shots | Timed cuts with an angle, one action and the sound for each |
| Lines | Who says what, kept short, or spoken off screen |
| Checks | What the pre-filming check flagged and what it rewrote |
Drawn storyboards vs filmed storyboards
Many AI storyboard tools draw a panel per shot for a film crew to shoot later. That's useful for a production. Here the storyboard is written for a camera that films it minutes later, so it's built around what video models do well and badly: one action per shot, a new angle on every cut, nothing the camera tends to mangle.
The checks every storyboard gets
- An opener that isn't a wide shot or someone waking up.
- No speech in an extreme close-up, and no two lines in one shot.
- No more than three people on screen.
- No food, pouring liquids, screens, readable text, mirrors or crowds.
- No fights, dancing or fiddly hand work, and stunts split into before and after (big set pieces are allowed in action and sci-fi).
- No slow motion, no prestige words, never the same framing twice in a row.
Only the shots that break a rule go back for a rewrite, and the rewrite is kept only if it breaks fewer rules. A clean storyboard costs nothing extra.

Full rankingsQuestions people ask
Can AI make a storyboard from a script?
Yes. Paste or write your story as the idea, and the storyboard is split into timed shots with angles, sound and lines. In Advanced you can keep your own shot order and angles.
Does the storyboard include images?
It's a written, timed shot list rather than drawn panels, because it goes straight to a camera. The finished short is the picture.
Is the storyboard generator free?
The storyboard is included when you make a short. Your first short is free up to 30 seconds; after that shorts cost credits.
Watch it. Vote for it. Make something better.
Two shorts. You pick. Winner climbs. Your votes earn credits to make your own.
