An AI script generator that hands the script straight to a camera

The short answer

StreamingWars has an AI script writer built in for short videos. Type an idea and it writes a story spine first (the hook, the question, what the hero wants and what it costs, the turn and the payoff), then a shot-by-shot script with camera angles, sound and short lines, shaped to your length and category. The script is then filmed as a vertical short with sound, so you see whether it works.

What gets written

  • The spine: hook type and the exact first image, the one big question, the want and its visible cost, a clue planted early, the turn, the payoff and the last image.
  • Beats sized to the length: a 15-second short is one setup and one turn; two minutes holds a full arc across several scenes.
  • Shots: about five per 15 seconds, each with one action, an angle and a time. The first shot gets two seconds to hook.
  • Dialogue: short lines with a fixed voice per speaker, or lines spoken off screen over a listener's face.
  • The cast and places, each with one fixed look repeated in every clip so nobody changes halfway.

A script format for every category

Each category has its own story format, drawn from established craft rather than guesswork, with a line budget and allowed endings.

CategoryFormatLines
ComedyA sketch: one game, heightened, ending on a buttonAbout one per 6 seconds
HorrorA cold open: a rule, a safety move that fails, one reveal, cut to blackAbout one per 15 seconds
ActionA set piece: goal, geography, obstacles, a costly choiceFew; action speaks
RomanceA wall, a costly choice, always a cliffhangerAbout one per 8 seconds
DramaOne moment of truth, held on a faceSparing

For action, romance and horror a head writer goes first: it pitches three different takes, scores each on hook, escalation, payoff and clarity, and develops the best one. In blind tests on paper that pass won every action and romance pairing; comedy and drama scored better without it, so they skip it.

How to use it

  1. 01

    Simple

Type the idea. The length and category are picked from it, the script is written, and filming starts straight away.

  2. 02

    Advanced

Write your own shot lines with an angle each, or press Expand to turn one line into key shots. Set length and category, and tick the option to read the full script before filming.

  3. 03

    Check and film

A check runs over the script for things cameras get wrong and rewrites only the shots that break a rule. Then it's filmed.

  4. 04

    Read it back

Every short keeps its recipe. Open How it was made to read the script that was filmed, then Remake with changes.

Questions people ask

Is there a free AI script generator for videos?

Writing the script is included when you make a short, and your first short is free up to 30 seconds once your email is confirmed. After that, shorts cost credits, which you can earn by voting.

Can I export the script?

The script stays with your short. Open How it was made to read every shot and line, and use Remake to start a new version from it.

How long does the script take?

About 35 to 65 seconds in our tests, a little longer for categories that get the head writer's extra pass.

Can I write my own script?

Yes. In Advanced, write each shot in a short line with a camera angle. Your shots are kept in order and the in-between cuts are added for you.

Watch it. Vote for it. Make something better.

Two shorts. You pick. Winner climbs. Your votes earn credits to make your own.
